The Dut Jok Youth Foundation is comprised of a team of human rights activists, mostly students from the University of Pennsylvania working in conjunction with on the ground personnel in Southern Sudan, advisers, and like-minded individuals across America. Dau Jok, DJYF’s founder, Penn student, and Southern Sudanese native, acts as a unique bridge between the University’s pool of compassionate and innovative students and local Sudanese, forming an international body with the tools and resources to change the trajectory of Southern Sudan’s generational impoverishment.
